I've been hooked on this website for about a month or more now and I can't submit reviews for albums.  I'm a member, obviously, and I can discuss on the forum pages but when I click on "submit a review for this album" link the website promps me to log in again, then after I do there's no template to write in or any way I can write something anywhere.  If anyone has had similair problems or just off-the-cusp knows how to fix this problem please let me know.  I have so many albums to talk about and would artistically and professionally write reviews.

The log in for reviews uses the forum log in screen for validation, but it is a separate log in. You can be logged in to the forum, but not logged in for reviews.

When you're logged in for reviews, a dialogue box should appear at the bottom of the screen allowing you to post the review and to rate the album.

In the past, some reviewers have found their firewall (especially Zonealarm) causing problems, and had to disable it while logging in then turn it back on again. I thought that was all OK now. The other thing you could try is deleting your cookies, specifically your PA cookie, and logging in again. Hope this helps!

I am still having problem with this issue. I am running Mac OS 10.6.6 and both Firefox and Chrome browsers are denied access and prevent me logging into the Collab zone where I am supposed to post and edit reviews. From Windows system I can login without problems. Are there any other Mac users with similar problems?

I can't submit reviews either. I have the same problem. I tried on several computers using Windows XP and Windows 7.
When I try to rate an album nothing happens.

Same here and I've been around since the beginning in 2004. Why bother?  Some guy deleted one of my Hawkwind reviews and I tried to re-type the freakin' thing back in and it didn't even come out. Lost in some black hole in cyberspace. And I am using my work computer which is not a piece of sh*t. The site has too much going on. Nobody seems to want to fix these problems which are more important than just just adding  more and more  superfluous features..

Ian.

Ahhhhh....... That explains it all.

M@X added a security feature some time ago which means you cannot enter reviews from the same computer your F15 use to ID the targets in Belgium. That's just to prevent tragic typing mistakes.

Return to base and enter the reviews from one of the computers in the officer's mess tent.

Very funny.

Why aren't these things fixed? Obviously there are other people having this sort of problem. The timeout / expired problem hasn't been fixed either.

I can't believe I am the only Mac user here who is having problems with "log in to review" option.... Confused

This is rediculous - these crappy comp machines are supposed to facilitate our work not to make our life more miserable....! Angry

I still cannot post reviews and I am f**king so-called "Collaborator" since 2004! Dead

It's been a while since I posted the original and I still can't find a way to post reviews.  I've logged in to the forum and then went back to the album I wanted to review and the same thing still occurs, which is nothing.  The page goes about three quarters of the way down to where the ratings are.  There still dosen't seem to be any field in which I can stert typing. (Damn, I better write some superb reviews if I'm still complaining about this, right?)

As we have said logging into the forum is irrelevant, you have to log into the main site.

I am current'y.  It told me that I have successfully logged in.  Another thing: There's a link that says "edit old reviews" or something like that., when I click it a white screen comes up and at the top left hand corner it says "My account dosen't have permission to do this"

Guys.

I have had this myself during the last days.

The problem may be the latest Opera version and/or update.

Solution: If you use Opera, change browser to for example Firefox when reviewing (Max would say change to Chrome, btw).

This forum is best viewed in Opera so feel free to use Opera when browsing, writing or plainly annoying Vibrationbaby.

Max: Would you be kind enough to download Opera, install it and simply test it out on ProgArchives ? There is a heck of a lot of ProgArchives errors popping up which I believe is exlusive Opera associated.
