BG Productions presents "Prog Fury: An Evening of Progressive Rock"  featuring prog-rock bands K2, Mars Hollow  and Phideaux.

K2 will be celebrating the release of their new album on Magna Carta  Records, "Black Garden"; special guests Phideaux are currently on the  prog-rock festival circuit, playing England's Summer's End festival as  well as ROSFest 2011. Mars Hollow will be debuting material from their forthcoming album (with former YES man Billy Sherwood producing).

Hope to see some Prog Archiver's there!!!

I must confess I am equally confused by your reply.

I wish I could attend this concert. But I don't wish I lived in California, at least not the densely populated areas.

Well, to each his own.  I rather enjoy the great So Cal weather, and I find the density less than New York or Boston or any major, older East Coast city.  And all the people is why we get great concerts like this!  Cool

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this.  I was bit disappointed with Phideaux's Number Seven, after the really great Doomsday Afternoon, but I hear their next effort is more like Doomsday.  Hope they play the more proggy side of their material.  I've heard some of K2's stuff that I like, but I'm not at all familiar with Mars Hollow.  I have some listening to do before November!

Due to the excellent (and humbling) response to this event, the bands have collectively

decided to upgrade the venue from the outskirts of Agoura Hills to the heart of Hollywood

-- the new location is closer, bigger, better, more parking, way more centrally located,

and just all-around cooler.

Nothing has changed except for the address of the show; also, it's now "21 and over"

only (sorry!). Here's the info:

Fantastic show! Thanks to K2 and Phideaux for putting on some spectacular performances, and to BG for getting the ball rolling.
