I'd have to go with VdGG also, or Yes. (still praying for Genesis reunion)
Maybe I'd switch KC if they'd decide to grace us with their first good album since 1974.

Dude, your top 5 looks almost exactly like mine! But I would add Flower Kings, Sigur Ros, Godspeed and Enchant.
Also, another great band I kinda consider prog is Muse. Great stuff.

I heard Red Masque on a web prog radiio station once, and they impressed me favourably. But I can't remember any titles they played; I only recall there was one very long track, a 20 minute or so epic.

play all the Invisible Touches, Turn it on Agains and Men on the Corner.

They actually have nothing to do with the sound of Genesis. They are like a combination of ELP, fusion music and the soundtrack of a manga series in my opinion.
-----
I'd certainly like to add Le Orme to the list, their latest albums are great!

Hi BaldFriede. probably it was the 24 minutws version of the song "Haruspex", you can find it in the album Victoria and the Haruspex

A very dark and Avant Garde album, absolutely interesting.
You can find a lot of LEGAL downloads at their official web page: http://www.theredmasque.com/downloads.html - http://www.theredmasque.com/downloads.html

I had the same idea when downloading this excellent album, but I was wrong, as Dan Yaron writes, if there's an influence it's from ELP.
Sounds excellent, even when the lyrics are poor.
