Loch Ness Monster Suite ( a prog ode ) For Rock Group, Symphony Orchestra & Big Band In C minor inspired by a yodelling musical idea by Thijs van Loch presented by The Monsters Of Prog. Deluxe 3 CD set.

Line-up:

John McLochlin- Extremely loud and over distorted electric guitars.

Greg Loch-Fuzz bass & voice

Rick Lochman-ARP Synth, Mellotron, distorted Fender Rhodes piano, Bosendorfer Grand Piano, Harpsichord, church pipe organ, Moog synth. accordian & harmonium.

Lee Kersloch- Drum kit, tympani, vibraphone, xylaphone, vibraphone, glockenspiel, tambourine, castinets, finger snaps, hand clapping, washboard, Chineese finger cymbals and assorted percusive devices.

Orchestra: Brliner Philharmoniker conducted by the ghost of Herbert Von Karajan.

Seriously, great stuff.   As an aside, your idea of Alvin & The Chipmunks singing prog is not as crazy as the rest: too bad Dave Seville is not still around - I think it would be a huge seller!
