PROGARCHIVES is the best music forum on the
internet. I have tried a few others recently but this has
the best international crowd, with the most
knowledgable people on the NET!
Though diverse in tastes and ages you guys have
done a KNOCKOUT job trying to adhere and be
attentive to that diversity. I for one believe this is to
your benefit and will be well rewarded.
Im sure I have not been easy to deal with but I have
never meant harm to your audience or your authority.
I have also experience a patience hand in dealing
with difficult situations and members, me not
excluded.
To Max and Maani and all those others that I am not
aware of.......thanks for the tropical island that we can
share cares and dreams like castaways!

I find nothing to disagree with!

...except that you'd have been 'not easy to deal with'. Your posts are an
endless well of information I always appriciate. Keep 'em comin'!

I actually find it amusing that your posts are always shaped together in an almost poetic fashion.

Dallas uses an Apple and therefore formats his sentences differently.

There was a time when Dallas could be a real rascal. He has come a long way.

This site has provided pages of information, and hours of entertainment. I owe a lot to progarchives for the way it opened the floodgates for my music obsession.

You are more open, friendly than before.

I have been to, seen and frequented just about every major prog site out there and this is definetely the best one on the web. The review feature, forums and mp3s are really a cut above the rest.

Great job ProgArchves!

Only thing I would like to see added to the site is that I wish there was an area to see which bands have been recently added to the site. It tells you that there are 1632 current prog bands in the database but when it goes to 1633, I would love to know which band that is.

-------------
Best of 2006 that I've heard:
PFM-Stati Di Immaginazione
Zenit-Surrender (Best "unknown" album)
Oaksenham - Conquest of Pacific
2007:
Phideaux - Doomsday Afternoon
La Torre Del Alchimista - Neo

click on progarchives, a band cannot be added without having an album added along with them. This page of the site has a list of all the newest additions to the archives

I.E.

Newly added Bands (with the albums)

Newly added albums to existing bands.   These could be on the same page of course.

Still, thanks for telling me where to look! Now I know
