About two years ago, an old guitarist friend and I decided to try to create some music together. It worked better than I could ever have hoped for.

Now we've got a full five-man band (spanning in age from 17 to 48), and our first recorded song Bridges can be heard on http://www.myspace.com/somewherestrange - our MySpace site (full web site coming in the fall) . We've amassed a lot of material during the last 20 months and hope to release an EP in spring, to be followed by an album during 2011.

Any and all comments are welcome.

Nothing? Not a word? I realize this part of the board is woefully under-trafficked, but still...

A much better-sounding version is available at http://soundcloud.com/somewherestrange/bridges - http://soundcloud.com/somewherestrange/bridges

Thanks, both. Much more to come (including an even better Bridges - i never liked the recorded ending, and the new one...whew).

Yep. At 5.25 or so it's our shortest song (apart from a T2 cover) so far.

Thanks, Nakatira. I am inordinately proud - to the point where even negative comments (we've had a few, to be honest) don't really phaze me. But positive comments are still quite warming.
