Went to see the big show at the very small crocodile cafe, it is essentially the size of a large living room, any position in there is close to the stage, thus we got to see wilson and the gang up close. The opening act, that one guy and the magic pipe, performed one of the most humorous and  fascinating acts I have seen, for example, lyrics composed of "weasel pie filled with butterfly bones."
The Tree came out, and the audience which was roughly 40-50 people and 90% being middle-aged, gave a warm welcome. They kicked the show off most auspiciously with Arriving Somewhere but not here, then followed by lazarus, halo, a somewhat short song from UTDS?,She's moved on, Sound of Muzak, Strip the Soul, Stop Swimming, Futile, Mellotron Scratch, Blackest Eyes, and the encore of Trains, Apparently this set list was "experimental" due to the fact they are playing in seattle again tonight. A very clean performance, vocals and instruments at the proper volume ratio. Not much energy from the older audience and not a whole lot from porcupine tree either.

-------------
Finite for today.
