anyone here into them? I have 10 of their albums and a few singles. I recently got their "Under the Influence" album which has tracks that inspired each member. Good stuff. New album "Love Kraft" out soon. They are definetly art rock that can even get quite proggy. They have a very psychadelic essence to them as well.

I am listening to their 2000 effort, "Mwng" a lot recently, its a great album, low budget and all in welsh, it sounds reli proggy too me in a less obvious way. lots of their stuff is. Their last single was 22 minutes long!

Yes, I love the band as well. The Steely Dan sample is a great tune. I heard they put on a tremendous live show as well. Perhaps we should start a petition to have them place under the art rock category?

yes! prog archives said they would add them like a year ago! i sent them all the discography... but nothing happened. I see them as a deeply prog band and very art rock and psychadelic.

I'll back you up frenchie. Definietly down in the psychedelic art pop prog region but mwng was psychedelic folk prog as well. Great in concert with a mix of prog , rock art and punk and lots more. Great fun and also deadly serious Thats SFA, a blend of styles in a band.

I absolutely love Super Furry Animals. Brilliant stuff, and although their spotlight is often taken by Radiohead, definitely one of the most brilliant bands to come out of the 90's.
