Nick Cave has slowly become one of my favorite artists, and I'd like to see how the progarchives community tends to feel toward his output.

Personally, I'm stuck between The Good son and Tender Prey.

Well I can't watch a thread about someone as talented as Nick Cave go with not one vote or comment so I vote for Abattoir Blues.

I would probabaly vote for Junkyard : Birthday PArty:

Let Love In is about my favourite of the studio albums to date, but my favourite album is Live Seeds. Lyre of Orpheus is superb, but I've never really got into Abbatoir Blues.

The Good Son, No More Shall We Part and Your Funeral... My Trial.

Dig Lazarus, Dig! is the only one I don't like.

My favorite album has to be no more shall we part.  yet their are some songs that just make me crazy: right out of your hands; the mercy seat; into my arms; the ship song; straight to you...

Yes, I'm responsibly necroposting again ... because Nick Cave (and the Bad Seeds) are totally worth it.

The Boatman's Call. "Black Hair" and "Green Eyes". A very open album, with personality and emotions in abundance.

Looking forward to his next album, hoping that the death of one of his sons did not tarnish his attitude towards songwriting.
