There's nothing like "Dogs" on that barn animals, misanthropic album! "Sheep" is quite a great suite as well... but certainly cannot bark!

Even if I prefer songs like "Echoes", "Shine on you crazy diamond" or "Confortably numb", I must say "Sheep" is an emblematic piece of Pink Floyd's art...maybe Dave Gilmour at his best!

I think "Animals" was a reaction to punk music ideology - they rejected progressive and psychedelic musics...especially Pink floyd...

The violence of this record showed that Pink floyd was as "powerful" as any Punk group - but with worked m

I would have to agree with asuma. I don't think Pink Floyd ever felt threatened by punk therefore never really having the need to lash out. Also Nick Mason produced one of The Damned LPs.. definitely not a sign of fear or anti punk to me.

The band performing this cover is "Eggroll", an Israeli band who used to perform a lot with excellent progrock covers. Now they're focusing on their own material.
