Okay, I know Yesterdays and Keystudio and a couple others are missing, but *phew* what a lengthy list.

This one might be harder to decide than the Floyd covers!

My top faves are...
Relayer, Tormato, Tales from Topographic Oceans, and Fragile

All of their 70's are perfect; gotta go with Relayer. Fragile in a close second.

Went with Tormato because I know the Roger Dean stuff will get high marks (as they should) and because it is my favorite non-Dean cover

Although I dislike TFTO, it's got the best artwork, but followed closely by GFTO's triple gatefold and Yessongs' multiple fold artwork.

If we're talking about the whole package it would have to be Yessongs. If it's outside cover only then it's Relayer.

GFTO is great for the whole package, but not for the front with some guy's butt on it.

Fragile. It has that design, and that color, that just make me want to own it on vinyl so bad!

At least it's not as twee as the Hemispheres cover. . .Confused
I vote for an omitted album--Classic Yes

I gotta go with Union. Not such a good album, but what a cover.

Edit: Am I the only one who thinks Fragile's cover is ugly as hell? Dead

My guess is because it got moved to Prog Bands, Artists and Genres Appreciation instead of saying in Prog Polls.  There's no option to make a poll in the Appreciation section of the forum.

That's odd. I wonder why it got moved here.

Relayer, followed closely by CTTE and TFTO.

I put this in the Polls section when I created it.  I didn't move it here.

If no one else can vote then I guess my hard work putting it together was a waste.

If I was allowed to vote I would vote for Yessongs.  To me this is the best album artwork of all and i am very surprised that it has no votes so far.

Relayer.

Relayer - which is probably the best painting Roger Dean ever did.

First vote for the original UK Time and a Word. Sexy AND surreal.

I thought Yessongs was a brilliant cover. The original triple LP was packaged superbly.

Close to The Edge is simple, yet defines the group/Reoger Dean collaboration instantly.

And just to be different, - I remember reading a review of Going For The One, maybe in Sounds where it described the bloke on the front farting.............

Yeah, I can't stand stand to leave Relayer.

Hurray for voting now!

Anyways, I vote Union like I said. And I also say Fragile is ugly. Wink

I vote for Relayer. Fragile puts up a good fight. And if CTTE had the inside picture on the front instead, it'd be a contender as well. Pretty much any Dean Yes work of the '70s is gold though. The later ones are good too (Keys to Ascension, Union, et al) but I like his '70s work best.

Tormato is amusing in its own way as well.

I think I have to go with Tales. Very vibrant and colorful, but mysterious as well.

Had to go with Union. Despite the lackluster album contained within, the artwork is gorgeous.

Honorable mentions to Yesterdays, Drama, both Keys, and the Yesyears box.

It's got to be Going For The One. Nothing beats the balls of putting a dude' sbare buttocks on the cover.

I think we maybe can all agree that Tormato was the worst though. That one actually scares me.
