If you could be a famous prog musician who u would be and why? Well, i would be Zappa, cause i could incinerate some place and get a cool song about that and maybe, later, could be president of USA  |

I am torn about this because I play drums and sing, and my favourite drummers are male. With singers it is easier; although Peter Hammill is my favourite vocalist there is someone else I can think of. So either Pierre Moerlen or Inga Rumpf (singer of the German band Frumpy). -------------  BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue. |

Friede made a cool choice with Inga. Barbara Dennerlein would be a good alternative for me as a keyboarder. If only I had her foot technique.

Philippe Bussonnet or Richard Sinclair, if sticking with my own instrument. Christian Vander or Yoshida Tatsuya if going with drums. Dave Stewart or Mike Ratledge if going with keyboards. Nor Fripp or another dinosaur, because I wanna live long.
I would be any hopeful young Prog rocker, for example Ross Jennings of Haken.
Or any Prog female musician like Heather Findlay or Petronella Nettermalm, because it was always my dream, become a pretty woman...

Mikael Akerfeldt... his guitar playing is probably my favorite, and he can sing beautifully as well as growl like The Desolate One himself. His lyrics are so vivid, too. I'd also like to be Alex Lifeson; probably the funniest and easy-going guy in all of prog (see: Rush in Rio behind-the-scenes) and his guitar playing is great as well. -------------

I've always been jealous of keyboardists with sh*tloads of keyboards, so probably Vangelis or Wakeman. Then again probably a keyboard/guitarist like Kerry Livgren.  ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
