TOOL brought it to the stage tonight in Vancouver. They were incredible, as usual, and the crowd was very much in tune with what was happening and oh so appreciative. The sound was amazing and words cannot begin to describe the experience that was laid down for all to enjoy.

The set-list was as has been presented about this tour, and it rocked !

I am off to Seattle in the morning for the TOOL concert there tomorrow night. I just so happen to have tickets on the floor, 8th row, seat 40. I am so happy I don't have to travel too far to see them this summer. Last year I flew from Vancouver to Toronto, Ontario so my son and I could see their shows in Kingston and Toronto.

Keep';the'faith & Spiral Out

The supporting act was "Rajas" , I thought they did better in Seattle than in Vancouver, as I went to both shows. Could be because I was on the 8th row on the floor too :-D

A good  bunch of vid footage on youtube for both these shows.

Here are two dates for you in that case:

Katatonia/Swallow The Sun/Orphaned Land - Sept 22, Rickshaw

Devin Townsend - Oct 24, Rickshaw

Perhaps one of those will interest you if you like tool!

I have Aug 22nd for Boris/Red Sparrowes in my blackberry already and I copy the Rickshaw website and you will see Devin Townsend is Oct 8th. Sadly, I wont be able to go to the October 8th show. So it goes.

They are the best and now, and one of the best ever. I love them and I am hungry for watching on stage.

I saw them once a couple years ago when they came by my way.  Their show is second to few.  My friend was with me and he isn't a huge Tool listener but he knows a few songs.  Tool played the entire show with their backs to the crowd (except Danny Carey)!  It was hillarious.  My friend couldn't understand why they were doing that.  I was like, "It's Tool, its just what they do!"  HAHA...It was an excellent show.

No.  It was pretty funny.  When the set ended they just walked off the stage into the back.  It was actually kinda funny.
