My vote goes to Brave, my favourite Hogarth era Marillion album. Other candidates should be The Division Bell and Il Trono dei Ricordi's self titled album, which is not on this list.

I voted 'Awake', though 'Division Bell' is just as enjoyable for me on most days.

Brave is great,Promised land is great,Moonshine is great,Epilog is great...but Awake is a masterpiece!

Maybe it's not the best album, but High Hopes is the best song of 1994. My vote goes to the Division Bell

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Of these choices I'll go with Epilog.

Overall I'd say Bondage Fruit's debut, Bark Psychosis' Hex or Koenjihyakkei's Hundred Sights of Koenji.

Now that I think of it, much of my favourite prog from the 90s was Japanese Zeuhl.

I picked Epilog as well and yes BONAGE FRUIT's debut is also pretty amazing.

Agreed - it wasn't a great time for Prog, although King Crimson's double trio was lumbering into existence and assorted RIO bods were still making intermittently interesting noises.

From that list I think I'd go with Arborescence - Ozrics were one of my favourite live bands of that era and I still enjoy their albums from time to time.

I'd take your suggestions over everything in the poll. Same would go for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aky67i18F0 - Tortoise's debut (probably my pick) and 5UU's Hunger Teeth. U Totem's Strange Attractors is not as good as their debut, but good enough to mention.

Holy crap, a poll in which I like almost everything.

Don't care for Citizen Cain or Stolt, but assuming the Ozric album is as good as the others, all those albums are 4 stars or above.

No vote.

And give up to one of their absolutely best songs like High Hopes? And What about Rick Wrught's effort on Wearing the Inside Out?

Brave-one of the best concept albums ever IMHO. It's dark, which some people don't like, but for me it's the most interesting of all of these. I like several of those listed, but Brave is just special.

Collage - Moonshine, then PF - Division Bell, then Marillion Brave, then DT - Awake and then the rest

I'm with Crimhead. Floyd was over.

No "Talk" listed? Beats Division Bell by a mile.
Guess there's more Rabin bashing to be done. . .Unhappy

Album of Yes puts all of the mentioned on shame (maybe except for Awake, but it's still a lot better)

The Division Bell, normally a very underrated Floyd album although it's doing rather well in this poll!  Second for me would be Dream Theater's Awake.

Awake was for me DT's first great album whilst The Division Bell is a ton better than I thought when it was first released, it's really grown on me over the years.

The vote however goes to the Roine Stolt album.  Witness the real birth of The Flower Kings.  Whilst this album perhaps isn't as good as some of the earlier TFK albums the best tracks are simply the work of genius.

Though not being a big fan of H-era Marillion, I nevertheless vote for Brave. That is a fine album Clap .
