During last some years Steve Hackett plays with Hungarian fusion band Djabe regularly and even participated on some their albums.You can find more info and some audio/video samples there on Djabe site:

August 7 Steve Hackett & Djabe play in Kaliningrad, just 200 km from my hometown. But ...Russian visa is a nightmare and too big amount of money for nothing. So-maybe next time...
