So Kayo Dot got moved to the Rio section! Any opinions?

I say:   ClapClapClap   Now they'll probably get the right type of listeners...

I'm really proud of our admins. It could've taken a lot longer for some to understand what we're dealing with here.

No, they were moved to the Avant side of RIO/Avant. Wink

Kiddin' Tongue Yeah that's been discussed by the Collabs in the last months and with Coyote coming to confirm the trend it all went smooth.

Yeah, I had been thinking of Kayo as RIO for a long time... I didn't even notice it wasn't there already. maudlin i guess you can fit into a metal genre, but i don't think you really can say the same for KD

Even at their most metallic (Choirs) they were still an avant band at heart. Definitely where they belong

I hope they belong here. I've not heard complete discography and even despite this support (for which I'm glad), I still was fearing that somebody will object, because it wasn't sanctioned by admins.

I noticed this to, and I feel it's an appropriate and also a necessary move, given the direction the band is heading.

No, it was sanctioned by the PMT and ZART, people who should know the ins and outs of their respective genres (well, in theory, but that means listening to a lot of music), something that means a lot more than the admins say so (no offense intended to our knowledgable admins).

To be honest its been a long time comeing, I remember discussing about this after the release of BLD when I was on the PMT nearly 2 years ago.

Yeah. It has been moved. Their later works sound more like some chamber rock. But I'm not that familiar with Kayo Dot, I hope we made the right decision Tongue
Apparently, we did.

This reduces the number of experimenta/post metal bands I know to 2. :)

Yes, both teams sanctioned it, but because of what Evolutionary Sleeper (hehe, Sleeper :-) ) said in team thread, I thought that you need admins, not teams to sanction it.

Nevermind it now, everyone's happy, so things got moved and this is the important thing.

I mean, I knew both the teams needed to give the ok on it, obviously, but I though that we then needed Admin approval afterwards, my bad. I didn't mean to scare you, honest. Wink

But anyhow, they're in their proper place now, so all is well. Thumbs Up
