I'll be there too, unfortunately asheville is an 8 hour drive from my house (and was still the closest on the tour).
For those who didnt know, The Dear Hunter is opening for them. This concert is going to be awesome!

My daughter is trying to book a few days off so she can go to the Cleveland show and stay over. It's about 7 1/2 hours away. She loves both Cohhed and PT.
Man i've got her trying to talk me into going to Cleveland for that show and my other daughter wanting me to drive her to NewYork City in September for EMINEM.10 hour drive to NYC. How many times do i have to say no?

I wish there was a Buffalo or Detroit date. Or they should just come to Toronto.

It's nice to see somebody playing St. Louis. So many bands pass us by to play Kansas City or Chicago.

Actually Crim, I was thinking just the opposite Seems like alot of people blow off Kansas City for St. Louis to me but I could be wrong.

I'm so tired of Ticketmaster. Just bought my ticket for the San Antonio show. $23 ticket ended up being $40 after all the fees Ticketmaster piles on.

Oh crap!
I'm flying to Las Vegas on the 13th to see Rush the next day, but my flight doesn't arrive until 9:30 p.m., which means that I will miss the show or I rather leave from the airport and head towards The Joint, which will take me about an hour (the most).
By the way, does anyone know if I could get admitted once the show has started?
I'm aware The Dear Hunter will open the show at 8:00 p.m. (or later), but I'm not sure how long will be the setlist for each band (one hour each???).
Any thoughts or advices???

I cannot believe that the great Porcupine Tree is actually going to play a show in El Paso, TX. This is truely amazing. I am also a fan of Coheed and Cambria. They have been an opening act for a few different artists here before, mostly Metal and Hard Rock groups.
This summer is turning out to be quite the musical extravaganza for me. I just saw RUSH's opening show in Albuquerque, NM on their Time Machine tour last week, and now I find out PT is going be right here in the town I'm living in. Unbelieveable!

Unbelieveable -- the San Diego show has Porcupine Tree and Dear Hunter. Funny, I don't really like Coheed very much, but PT and DH don't really come to San Diego. Can't wait.

The venue in San Diego said that Dear Hunter was 30 minutes, Porcupine Tree 60 minutes and Coheed 90 minutes.

Love their new DVD - "I am watching Porcupine Tree's DVD of Anesthetize again, because I am
impressed with the quality of the video and the grandiosity of the
music. Each song is handpicked to tell a story or even better, to
provide psychoanalysis for modern man. At first I was turned off by the
lyrics in "Fear of a Blank Planet", because I thought the group was
attempting to appeal to the high school generation of today. But like
all great poets their lyrics are lose enough for you to imagine your own
perspectives to make sense of the song’s lyrics. In fact, I would say,
in order to enjoy this DVD you need to be creative in your own mind and
let them take you to a new realm, which will expose some issues in your
life, but in the end will give you a new perspective on life in a
greater way. The DVD is a spiritual experience for those who will
allow." see more at: http://topooceans.blogspot.com/
