Pick your woman. This time I have to go with Melinda, though it hurts me not to vote for Maribel, Eleanor or Diana. I predict this is going to be a tight poll.

For a second I thought it was yet another one of those threads.
I haven't heard them all, but I'm going with Diana anyway.

hehe, the poll started great. My favourites are being voted. We are missing a vote for Eleanor and it's perfect.

I voted Selene, because it was before I noticed Diana...
I love that song (both Selenes they did, actually) so much that I considered naming one of my guitars that... and any guitarist knows that's serious business

My vote goes to Bonnie, just above Sylvia.
But my all time favourite in this category is Queensr˙che's Della Brown.

Although Chelsea Monday is about a girl. I am fairly sure that girls name isn't in the title. At the time it was written I'm fairly sure no one would have called a girl Chelsea - it is an area of London or football team . Clinton came a bit later.
Course if you mean it is about a girl - I apologise
I go for Vera followed by Cross Eyed Mary

Kayleigh, just ahead of Sylvia
Well, because it's such a nice song about a relationship, and the Kayleigh in the video looks nice... It all sounds very credible and intriguing, even when it's a hit single which I have heard lots of times. Great lyrics too.

Oh, and otherwise it would have been Lady Nina, also by Marillion, also lyrics by Fish. Never knew I was such a Fish / Marillion adept, but there you go. I like the tension in the lyrics of Lady Nina - the song is just a B-side, but even Marillion's B-sides were good in those days.

You know you can make a second part of the poll. Just think of another 23 and see if it is easy. Maybe after naming 50 woman names people would stop whinning about the songs that didn't make it into the poll. It's just for fun my friend.
