Watching the games in surround sound stereo is no way to watch the games as it sounds as though the house is being attacked by killer bees.

You know that the killer bees was imported from Africa to South America and their they mated with the ordinary honey bee and got crazy and sh*t.

They might go away, though. But I wonder if that would be a good idea - watching silent half empty stadiums at the World Cup would be a sad experience.

It's very avant-prog. So I love it.
Minimalist and repetitive.
Actually, I find them annoying too but I've got used to them now. I think the BBC may have somehow turned the background noise down on their broadcast... they don't seem so loud now.

I neither love it nor hate it. My suggestion would be that Australia licks the heels of Onkel Sepp and gets the first available World Championship (maybe 2018, on which the Netherlands and Belgium are so keen) in return. They'll didge the vuvuzela out of our memory!

From what I read in the newspapers, I guess the French team's sleeping problems have more to do with the case of the underage prostitute Zahia than anything loosely related to soccer.

I guess because they were inspired by the art of using car horns the way it is practised in Cairo.

When it comes to African culture, I am more for the idea of letting loose a pride of lions on the grass now and then instead of the whateveritispronounced thingy. Lions, that's the way forward.
Btw. I am full of respect for the fallen children in Soweto slain by this satanic racism on this day back in 1976. Must their souls rest in peace.

Maybe we should hire that one poet who is the greatest in the universe. Forgot what his name was, and don't even know what book it was from, but I remember loving the Guide's description of him. "When listening to his music, never has one felt such a sense of calmness and oneness with the world."

http://www.vuvuzela.fm/ - Nice, there's a radio station.
They're only $10 on Amazon, I'm tempted to buy one and stick my contact mike on it. I think I would come close to my goal of making the most obnoxious sound ever, but I can only play one at a time so I couldn't match ten thousand idiots deafening you at the stadium.

John Zorn and Mike Patton aren't even close to being the most annoying musicians I own.
If I ever buy the vuvuzela, I will post the results on Youtube and you will be amazed by my subtle use of distortion and gain (i.e., setting it to 10).

Haha, collaborative vuvuzela orchestra! It can be like http://www.erstwhilerecords.com/catalog/056.html - this album , which was two separate improvisational performances overdubbed. They actually can be played as a real instrument, although the results are http://vimeo.com/2303420 - less than stellar .
