Painfully passionate? And which one would you rather choose? I would certainly go for comfortably numb, because I want to be Safe in the light that surrounds me Free of the fear and the pain -------------

painfully aware doesn't have that dramatic effect which comfortably numb has. we gotta outsmart Roger Waters here. -------------

I thought the "comfortably numb" state referred to becoming free of pain... So the opposite would have to refer to the point where the pain becomes unbearable? |
