I gotta go with the drums. Gene Hoglan himself said it's a great way to learn. I've been learning for 8 years

I used to play air drums. Oh, I got to the point where I could play every second of air-drum in A Change of Seasons perfectly. I'm a bit rusty now, though, and I never could get my left foot to work quite right. I suppose I just need to practice some more...Gene Hoglan, say, that's not a bad guy to practice to....or maybe Haake...
Bottom line is this: I just got fed up and disillusioned by the modern air-music industry. I figured I'd rather be able to put food on the table than flail my limbs about in psychotic fits of polyrhythmic fury. So I gave up the dream. Whatcha gonna do.... ------------- "WAAAAAAOOOOOUGH! Air drums, I do it all the time. Sometimes I'll hold drumsticks and go along with music, sometimes I play on my bed. When I'm bored in class I like to make crazy/stop and go double bass beats, usually using my heel and toe.  meh....I'm cool with it  |

Oh well, when it comes to an air instrument I make something up that bears no resemblance to any particular instrument other than moving the fingers.

Personally, I'm an air drummer of note (which led to some odd looks at a friend's party when 'Spirit Of Radio' was played, followed by 'YYZ'. Does lining up plastic chairs to play Hammond along with Jon Lord count as air Hammond??  -------------

BTW, when younger, I would air guitar, air,bass; air piano and even air-drum rolls in the same song
Today, I only air-bass with my right hand or air-Rhodes with my left hand  , the latter usually when driving.
