I'm really enjoying this one. It's like the best parts of MDK and Kohn combined. Lots of good melody and no real repetition. Really enjoy these 4 albums:

1001 degrees centigrade
Wurdah Itah
Udu Wudu
Attahk

while Kohntarkosz and MDK are good albums imo. Can't work out why these 2 are rated the highest because they have the least really enjoyable amount of songs from the 6 albums I've listened to hehe
I'll haven't quite listened to Kobaia though Tongue

-------------
Jazz/Classical Rock(70's style prog/fusion). Lots of prog keys and melodies(all original ideas)

I just got Wurdah Itah as well, I'd say it's about equal with MDK for me right now.  Give it a few more listens.
I think the reason MDK is rated so high is that it is, essentially, THE classic Zeuhl sound.  I absolutely love the chanting vocals, repetitive piano and bass, it's just gorgeous and trance-inducing.

By the way, when does your copy of Kobaia come in? LOL

And have you heard Weidorje?  That's probably my favourite Zeuhl band/album ever.
Jannick Top's solo album Infernal Machina is also pure brilliance

I got Kobaia the other day and I'll give it a good listen tonight or tomorrow Tongue. I quickly browsed it and I'm not sure if it's Blasquiz singing most of the vocals or another guy though.
Yeah I have the Weidorje album with the 2 live bonus tracks of  2 songs they never released. Cool album. I also have Patrick Gauthier's solo album from 1981 which has 1 of the other Weirdorje songs that hadn't been released called Nor or Nir. I'm looking for Paga's album with the other Weidorje song but I can't find it available anywhere Cry. The song is great though, I heard it on youtube. Gauthiers solo has 4 or 5 very good tunes too. Vander plays on a couple of songs too Wink

I find this album to be the weakest of that era... not bad, but not nearly as powerful as the albums that followed or preceded it.
