hi folks - i'm an obvious newbie here, but i'm hoping my post will be of some merit.  as a kid, the bruford / squire slow groove on "heart of the sunrise" reached deep into me and resonated in a place that was much more real than anything else that was going on in my life at the time - same for fripp's playing (the solo on "st. elmo's fire!"...man!).  well, i've grown up a bit and have put together my own band called "circle circle star."  we're out of boston, but fortunately can reach you and your eyes and ears thanks to this interwebs stuff.  hopefully you're having a good day.

if you have an interest in checking out some new material - we're giving away the first three songs off of our debut record.  just a simple click and the tunes are yours.  the second track "the long walk home" i think could strike a chord with any of you who felt the same way i did about the aforementioned prog gems.  feedback is always welcome.

if you're boston-based, we're playing in cambridge at the lizard lounge on may 29th.  if you're elsewhere and want to stay connected, we have a little e-cabana on facebook.
