I'm looking for general advice on transcribing prog songs to solo piano, if there's anyone here who has experience in such matters. I've just started work on Transatlantic's The Whirlwind- haven't run into any problems yet, but any advice would be appreciated. P.S. I've already searched the Internet for sheet music/guitar tabs/MIDI files, and came up empty- if anyone knows of anything that I've missed, however, that would also be greatly appreciated. |

you need to know how to play the piano.
the better pianist you are, the easier it will be.
you can use an audio-editing program ( Audacity ) to determine the hard parts.
earlier I was transcribing The Sham Mirrors by Arcturus myself and the result was quite good -------------
