A new PFM album will be released at the end of the month. One I'll certainly be looking forward to.

Info taken from the BTF website.........

40 years since its first release PFM decide to read again the whole record with new arrangements and new music written right for this anniversary edition.  “A.D. 2010 - La buona Novella” in PFM’s vision does not features only cover songs, but lots of new music written to bear and to attend the listener directly from the inside of the tale.
De Andrè lyrics stay faithful to the original concept, while the music translates itself in harmonic narration and in the audio-scenography of the new concept album.
Each track has a different world of sounds, ballads, voices, choral solos to put in evidence the human drama which surrounds the characters of the story.
This is a gift for the 70th year anniversary of Fabrizio De Andrè.

What was very impressive in the original album were the lyrics. I suggest finding a good translation. This is the link to a review that I wrote about 2 years ago.

Can't wait. Their last album was the finest from them in a long time imo. Hopefully they'll play some live shows Big smile

Thanks, good review. Still the only one at the album page though.
I hope this PFM release will make proggers (at least some of them) to listen to De Andre' original album.
