this band definetly deserve to be hailed as prog. They're indie like take on prog was different and wasn't unlike Pineapple Thief or Porcupine Tree. If you haven't heard of them, look for the video for Blind Pilots, amazing song and just as good of a video.

They were a great band, went to several of their gigs. I wouldn't call them prog exactly just a really good indie/rock band. Shame they called it a day.

I'm moving this to Suggest New Bands as I can't find it listed in the archives (this section is intended for the albums of acts that are already listed in Prog categories).

They were a very good band, I own one of their albums and though I would not consider a full progressive rock band, they do have some prog tendencies. When Mansun were added to the database, I immediately thought about The Cooper Temple Clause... Prog or not, they are worth checking

Well, there are some progressive aspects in the samples from MySpace. Before we dismiss it I'd like to have the X-over guys take a look.

I love the Cooper Temple Clause. One of the most original bands on the past decade. It's really a shame they broke up, releasing only three excellent albums, which were amazingly diverse in style.

I wouldn't call them prog, but the music is interesting, definitely something a prog lover would like to listen to.

i heard one album 'Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose' , good, but not prog, sounds more like indie to me.

Yeah that's thee album I have, and agree with you, I do not really support their inclusion, but it the crossover team decide to add them, I would not have a problem

To be honest, they're as prog-related as a number of bands on here. I'd say the same for a number of bands from that scene (such as Biffy Clyro's older stuff).

And lo, the mighty riffage was played and it was good
