Tough call in culinary terms - chicken's more versatile, but duck has a much more distinctive flavour. On the other hand, ducks are more intelligent than chickens (let's face it, cardboard boxes are more intelligent than chickens) and are equally at home on land, on water and in the air (chickens can neither swim nor fly) so I think that the duck is a clear winner here. ------------- 'Like so many of you I've got my doubts about how much to contribute to the already rich among us...' Depends on which type of duck you're talking about. Muscovy ducks are fugly, so much so that even other Muscovy ducks don't fancy them, it's just that they can't get off with any other types of duck.
Mind you, it looks like this chicken's mother got extremely drunk at a party one night and copped off with one, which she probably never lived down.
