The Italian Progawards site recently announced it's final nominations for various album of the year awards. The second half of the nominations for best recording of 2009 are listed below - any points of view in here for these nominees?

Haven't heard a 11 of these bands. For me it would be between Big Big Train,Oresund,Wobbler, Roswell Six, Ghosta Berlings,Transatlantic, Izz, The Tangent, Derek S., I/O Earth, The Muse, and Mars Volta. I'd pick Big Big Train, The Mars Volta and The Tangent for my top three. I'll have to check out the other bands I missed.

I believe I saw the album nominated for some other award on their site. As to its not being prog, it is all in the eye of the beholder. |

yeah. ..that is true... but that comes with the caveat of showing a complete lack of knowledge of what prog is about to deny it is prog.
