Inspired by emdiar's green fingers and interesting herbs, I wonder if any other proggers are into planting the seed and assisting nature in growing the seed?

My slightly odd passion is for carnivorous plants - doubly odd considering I'm a vegetarian.

That's right, an animal that only eats plants cultivating plants that only eat animals...

I'll take some snapshots of my own plants if this thread develops any interest, but for now here are some piccies of similar ones to plants I grow that I found elsewhere;

So what would happen if I was walking along and suddenly tripped and fell into a patch of those red darlings of yours Cert?

Haha. That is pretty ironic.

Nope, not a fan of planting and the like. to time consuming for me.

I recently bought a Venus Flytrap that seems very happy in my kitchen - if I ever get a digicam I'll post a pic. Let's face it, 'Reader's carnivorous plants' is a bit more original than 'Reader's wives'.

Funnily enough, I'm doing some experiments to cross the giant Hogweed with a venus flytrap and see if I can grow a 15 foot trap that can protect itself...

My latest passion for plants are ferns. They have come from the prehistoric times and have this unique way of reproduction through spores (a bit like Mushrooms).

I also love the Pieris Japonica shrubs and Pachysandra as floor cover around

That is ouside the rosemary tyme parsley and sage to make the best food, of course!
