We are a progressive rock band looking for a keyboardist in the veins of Rick Wakeman, Tony Banks, Richard Barbieri, Per Wiberg, Kevin Moore, and Keith Emerson. Our influences include Rush, Dream Theater, Yes, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Opeth, Genesis, ELP, Tool, Return to Forever, Muse, King's X, and Marillion. Our vocalist is in the UIC Chamber choir and has sung at Carnegie Hall, the guitarist has a 4 year degree in classical and jazz guitar performance and has attended Berklee college of music for masters classes, the drummer is very technical but also very musical and plays a lot like Neil Peart and Gavin Harrison, the bassist has a minor in music and is also experienced in upright bass. We are all between the ages of 21-24 so someone around that age would be preferred. We are a gigging band, and are currently writing music.

Hi, I just saw this!  I'll ask around, most of the prog key players I know are olde farts like me!

That would be great if you could ask around! We are still looking. Thanks!
