If you haven't heard Alex Machacek before, jazz rock fusion fans are missing a treat. One of the best young guitarists to appear on the scene in the last 10 years. Check out the album  McHacek (note: change of spelling) Featuring Ourselves.

I hear Machacek, Bozzio and Patrick O'Hearn are recording... That should be awesome.

Featuring Ourselves is "Out of Stock" at Abstract Logix, but I just got The Next Generation of Sound and BPM. Mr. Machacek is a force to be noticed. Great facility.

I saw Bozzio a few years ago on a solo drum tour show and, WOW!, he is something to marvel at. Simply amazing.

Yes. He had like FOUR kick drums, two with cables so they were set about two feet outside the kit. Strange to see. He had the double row of piccolo drums, about fifty cymbals that range from small four inch oriental bells to huge splashes set at every corner. Amazing. He'd come out from behind the kit after each tune and talk about technique, the biz, Zappa... Thrilling!
