Welcome one and all to The Musical Box - Joel and FiP's karaoke club!
Rising up to fame from their singing in the small town Bar Fight thread, the duo have made their name internationally with their brilliant covers of Genesis classics, including The Musical Box and Watcher Of The Skies. List of covers so far, in order: Genesis - The Musical Box Genesis - Watcher Of The Skies Tool - Ticks & Leeches Opeth - The Lotus Eater Come here to watch history being made, and who knows, we make take song requests every so often  -------------

Look guys, this thread is really on very thin ice at the moment. We only allow a limited number of chat-room type threads and tolerate a few pointless threads (which this is rapidly becoming). Clique threads for the personal enjoyment of a limted few are frowned upon - the kind of exchanges I've seen here this afternoon are much better suited to MSN or IRC, and not here.
Either this becomes a themed game that all can join in or it gets shut down.
Sorry to be a hard arsed kill-joy here, but being a good guy all the time is not the real me either. ------------- What? |

We won't do a Shakira cover. Joel really is into dancing while making strange movements with his ass, but I don't enjoy it at all, I'm sorry. And yes, we might release a CD with some of our covers. Actually, we have a world tour planned. We're going to record some live shows and release them. I'm sure it will be a huge succes. These CD's are planned for release: A CD with Genesis covers, which will include several songs from The Lamb, Cinema Show and of course The Musical Box among others. A CD with Tool covers, Ticks and Leeches so far is the only known song that is definitely appearing on this CD, though Stinkfist, Lateralus and Vicarious are candidates too. A CD with Opeth covers. Many growls will be heard here, which is our speciality actually. Joel is even capable of growling without moving his lips! -------------
