StarStarStar Hi progarchivists!  StarStarStarStarStar

5 months ago I presented 6 hours of women vocalists in progrock on my show TOO CLOSE TO THE EDGE on online radio at http://www.ptrogpositivity.com/">www.progpositivity.com , and given there’s been a fair bit of chat on Magenta’s recent release of the Yes standard, Wondrous Stories I thought I would play these two shows again so you could enjoy other female voices who are as dedicated to the sound of prog as us. There’s 3 hours tonight and I’ll be presenting another 3 hours of other female artists / in bands next Wednesday at Noon (New York time).  Hope you can listen in and enjoy it.

Where to start... I've grabbed a handful of acts and artists who have contributed to the sound of prog dating back to

the late 60's right up until now. Old or new - there are some very beautiful voices and talented musicians adding to

this wealth of music.

The Gathering
Carol of Harvest
Panic Room
Pentangle
Iona
Strawberry Fields
Par Lindh Project
Ragnarok (from New Zealand)

Magenta
Capercaillie
Vermillion Sands
La Tulipe Noire
Ambeon
Empire
Affinity

and last and certainly not least... Renaissance

... all great voices of prog! the songs are pretty good too...

This will also be repeated Wednesday at Noon EDT
