Hi, people. My english is not so good, but i want to start new friendsheep here. It´s good to know that people all over the world like prog music.

Few people i know like prog music, almost nobody. Almost everybody just like trash music here. It´s so hard to me to divide my impressions about a album or a kind of music. I think i´ll fill in home here.

Hey Prog Brazil, I´m from Rio, it´s strange to talk in english to a brazilian. It´s so good to talk about music with people that like prog music, it shows intelligence and good taste (if i can say that). The language is a impediment to show cleary the ideas, but the possibility to exchange the impressions and get information is very atractive.

Abraços.

Thank you, WiguJimbo.

Hi Bhits!!

Your english is pretty damn good if you ask me!  A warm welcome, and I hope you enjoy this site.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Yes I have heard Bacamarte, Tempus Fugit and some Sagrado too.

Bacamarte is definitely a classic.

Some of my other favourites from Brazil are Marco Antonio Araujo, Quaterna Requiem and Pocos & Nuvens.

Yes we have some prog bands but I don't find the finnish prog scene interesting at all. In the seventies finnish prog was very fusion jazz influenced. Nowadays it's more psychedelic and minimalistic. My favourite finnish group is a 90's cult band Kingston Wall. It's very good but not special.
