Ironically I was watching Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy yesterday, based on the movie by Douglas Adams who passed away years ago at 49 years ... RIP to both, definitely untimely.

It was disheartening reading the thread over at PE about his ongoing condition and struggle.
He was with the ones he loved and got much affection through friends and also online, which I hope was a comfort. His friend, Steven, regularly posted there about his day-to-day struggle and I admire his endurance and ability to cope while seeing his friend fade away.
My condolences to his family and friends.
