Did they ever played the song"Pantagruel Nativity" live? and i don't mean the Three Friends version.

if so. can anyone give me the name of the show?... or more information?

You might be making reference to the early days? Prior to John Weathers owning the drum seat? The first 2 Gentle Giant titles are more in the KC vain. I'm not sure if any live shows are available at this time. Check with Greg Walker of Synphonic. E-mail him and he will get back to you in timely fashion. He has a vast catalog of Gentle Giant concerts.

'Pantagruel's Nativity' (the studio recording) is on the band's second album  'Acquiring the Taste'.  You refer to a live version on 'Three Friends'.  Is this a bonus track on one of the CD versions of 'Three Friends'? I have the 2008 Repertoire Records re-release of 'Three Friends'(which only contains the original album) so I don't know the version of Pantaguel's....that you are referring to.  Can you tell me which version of 'Three Friends' you have?  I'm quite keen to get hold of it.

I believe he refers to the band Three Friends, a semi-GG reunion band with Kerry, Gary and Malcom Mortimore (plus several other musicians).
