I was thinking about buying a new Spock's Beard Album and it's between a few.  I haven't heard "Thoughts" but "Thought's part II" is one of my favorite SB songs, if Thoughts is half as good as Thoughts part II then I'll want to buy "Beware of Darkness"

so what are your thoughts on thoughts and thoughts part II?

Thoughts Part I is a Gentle Giant knockoff, specifically "Knots".    Part II's my favorite of the two, it's still got a GG feel, but it also has its own identity.

I knew they were both inspired by knots, which I love partially why I love Thought part II is the similarities.  So Thoughts Part I is more like knots than Part II?

On the point of buying a new SB album, 'V' and 'Snow' are probably the two essentials, with The Kindness Of Strangers and Day For Night in the next tier.  Of the two post-Morse albums, I personally prefer 'Feel Euphoria'; 'Octane' has a bit more of a 'Beware Of Darkness' feel about it, which isn't so much to my taste, but they are all very highly regarded.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
