Quote: This album is an absolute masterpiece. Quite avant-garde, very challenging, & a very unique album. This is probably Robert's most misunderstood & undersung album. It shares all the qualities of Soft Machine, Matching Mole. & even some

I'll third it, a totally great and unique work, been having a little trouble finding it in stock anywhere lately as I actually have been looking for it.

It's one of the first RIO albums, along with Hopper's 1984. I like a lot and consider to be one of Wyatt's greatest albums, but it's definitely for adventurous listeners only, as it's not a very easy listen.

In some ways, it's one of the most exciting albums I have ever heard, but I don't feel like listening to it very often. When I do, though, it usually stays on my cd-player for a couple of days. It never manages to bore me, and that's quite rare.

I have this albums also, I gave it three stars. It's a masterpiece but it's a very intresting listen. It's nothing like Rock Bottom though.

You give a "masterpiece" three stars...??? Confused

I got it a while back, and my current rating is 4/5 Smile

Wasn't a big fan after my first few spins, but the record has definitely grown on me.  Now, I rate it as one of Wyatt's best, but still not up to the jazzy madness of, say, Henry Cow or Wyatt's work with Matching Mole or his next two solo records, Rock Bottom and Ruth...

I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
