this poll is a salute to all the great archives sites.

Here's some heartwarming text from http://web.archive.org/web/20020726140505/http://www.progarchives.com/ - the Wayback Machine .

"Welcome Prog Fans! You have finally found the most complete & powerful Prog Rock Resource on the Net."

Back then, the site had four genres:

NEO PROG
PROG METAL
70's CLASSIC PROG
SYMPHONIC PROG

speaking of jims pointing out the long time since posting on Wayback Machine, there is a site called "Ghost Sites" that deals with old sites that have been dorment or abandoned for many years it often points out the last entries to these old sites, some going back to the early days of the net!! some with no entries for ten or twelve years, that sort of thing

Mind you last i looked thier last entry was december 2008(in danger of becoming a ghost site itself?LOL)

I also remember a time when this site had 17 members(as Jim would too!!)ahhh those were the days!!Big smile
