Dickie Peterson, bassist and vocalist for the legendary Blue Cheer, passed away October 12, 2009 at the age of 61.

These are some sad news, his music is still to this day immensely influential on psychedelia, hard rock and heavy metal. Worst of all, I never got to see the Cheer live. Unhappy

Really sad. I discovered blue cheer recently and was completely blown away...
