Increasingly: video games.
A couple months ago I cruised through Mass Effect in about a week, and I spend way too much of my time thinking about Oblivion nowadays. I've recently passed up opportunities to go out with friends in favor of staying home and playing Oblivion.

If we're sticking to the strictly legal, then cigs, beer and choc-chip cookies. If we mean Dante seven deadly vices then I've managed all of them on a semi regular basis, all in one day if it's a particularly good day. Though I do think their wickedness is overplayed and to some degree overrated, if some of life's overachievers had been blessed with a bit of sloth I think the world would be a far better place.

I used to have very negative vices, now I don't (never did) drink or smoke (did, and a lot).
The eventual green mind-enhancer but only like 4 times a year....
Coke. Not the white one but the black carbonated beverage... I can't quit. At least I do zero calories now...
Instant gratification by purchasing stupid media like music, comic books, books in general, movies....
Yes, not saying NO to myself often enough is my vice..... (aren't all of them?)

Cigarettes, alcohol & late night breakfast cereal binges - also procrastination caused by watching too much rubbish tv (the stuff I could do if I didn't own an idiot box ); illegal stuff has been done in the past, but you cannot change the past only the present - take care of that & the future looks after itself.

I've found a new one: abstinence. I've not had alcohol for nearly six months now, so I'm stuck with the smoking and cussing. Strangely I think I've lost the taste for beer, which is frankly worrying as eight pints used to mean a very mediocre day at the office.

what is a vice? it only becomes a vice if you are stuck in something which makes you unhappy ...a bad marriage, a rotten job, too much credit, these are all vices. Smoking and drinking only become a problem if you don't enjoy them anymore and doing them is making you ill, it's easy enough to stop. Nothing wrong with a bit of procrastination sometimes...relaaaaxxx...

Notwithstanding your tongue being in the region of your cheek , a bad marriage and a rotten job ain't vices matey. It might be more accurate to state that failing to confront things that are making you unhappy (which you have the power to change) could be deemed a vice of sorts ?
BTW on behalf of all the weak willed and pathetic souls addicted to tobacco I would like to offer the invertebrate rebuke that it ain't easy to stop.

Ah, college. I got buzzed one night early in my college days and walked around campus alone when it was really foggy. If I had done that at the wrong time I might have been run over by a bathtub. (I went to Southern Tech in the '80's)

It used to be coffee for me, up to a time when I was tired without caffein and shivery as well as nervous with. After that, I tried two times whether my body could cope with caffein, but I still can't. Drinking won't become my vice, as I felt sick for the next hours after one sip (and really not more) of beer. Might have been a bad beer, though.
Oh, considering my homework, add procrastination to the list..
