Ok. Has anyone else listened to the "radio presentation" above the play list, on the Prog-Archives homepage. Its absolutely absurd. I'm actually slightly offended by it. The announcer of this thirty second audio clip, is probably the cheesiest, most generic sounding fool, I have ever heard. "interactive forums for people like us!".. the fake excitement in his voice about killed me, but the final blow came only seconds later, "Progressive, Obsessive, Prog Archives. com" ................... COME ON! If we hold a certain standard to our music, shouldn't we at least put some effort into making the this 30 second radio presentation, even the slightest bit... Progressive.

I didn't think it was that bad, although I did think it was very cliche and cheesy...
The announcers voice did make me laugh, I admit

It's supposed to be a bit of a spoof on late night 70s style progressive radio DJs. Lighten up and have a sense of humor.
Oh yeah, welcome to PA ... enjoy!
P.S. Since this thread isn't a blog it will be moving somewhere appropriate ... let me throw a dart to see where it will end up.

fair enough haha :) I guess I was just anticipating some sort of oddly syncopated announcing. I don't know. maybe a keyboard solo.
