Back when Napster was free I got a personal message from some guy who noticed I was downloading a live version of Hemispheres by Rush. He said he was in a band called Mahaley Star and told me to download a song called "Waterfalls Of Sin" from his shared library. I did and liked it a lot. But it soon got lost and forgotton in my mp3 files.

Months later I was on an Independant music site, browsing the free downloads when I came across Mahaley Star. Remembering the Napster connection, I downloaded  "In The Light". It completely blew my mind. What great music! Anyway, I tried the email link to find out how to buy the album, but the address no longer exists.

All I am able to find out about the band is they were the first band signed to The Mother Ocean lable. Emails placed to TMO have gone unanswered, and the band isn't listed on the website!

This is a link to the band bio: http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Mahaley_Star/ - http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Mahaley_Star/

I have since found "Waterfalls Of Sin" and my two Mahaley Star songs are my most prized possessions in my entire music collection. Since they were downloaded free and legal, I would like to make them available for download but I don't know how. I think the people of this site would really appreciate them!

"Dreamy and cosmic, audacious yet profound ..." "Mahaley Star remains on the periphery of avant garde art, yet creates rock music that is instinctively aggressive and progressive"

Hey, it's been a while since I posted this, so I thought I would bring it back to the top.

Has anybody here even heard of Mahaley Star; they really are very good, and worth the time I spend worring about getting this album!
