Finally, German Artrock Band Sylvan is back! Seven years after their visionary album 'Artificial Paradise', three years after their conceptual masterpiece 'Posthumous Silence' and one year after their acclaimed Live DVD, now “Force of Gravity”, Sylvan’s seventh and most spectacular studio CD, will be released. Here on an even more powerful, but also clearer and more consequential way, artistic visions create a musical reality rough and stirring passages meet fragile, strongly emotional moments, natural rhythms merge with digital beats, rocking guitar riffs join wonderful melodies, which are interpreted perfectly by Marco Glühmann’s unique voice.

“Force of Gravity” - this is 70 minutes of music, eleven brand new, thrilling songs. A unique album, which carries both the vibes of the 70th and the handwriting of the “New Artrock”. Never before Sylvan have presented their skills this versatile and raw, never before they had their finger nearer on the pulse of the time ... an album like an exciting trip on the rollercoaster of life!

You can hear audio samples and pre-order at http://www.progrockrecords.com/shop/view.php?id=199 - http://www.progrockrecords.com/shop/view.php?id=199 - we will be shipping late next week and the price will go up $2 at that time.

^^It's not allowing me to get past the billing information and gives me this: There was a problem with the shipment calculation. Your zip code might not be valid. Please javascript:window.history.back%28%29 - go back and check again your informations.

It shows the shipping calculated in there, so not sure what the problem is.

It worked, Shawn. When I entered my zip code it automatically put in the hyphen and additional 4 digits. When I just used 5 digits, it worked.

Looking forward to this.

I'll purchase the album as soon as it appears on Amazon MP3 or eMusic ... I already heard one of the tracks on the sampler CD of Germany's Eclipsed magazine - easily the best track on the sampler (better even than the one from Porcupine Tree's Incident)! :-)

Awesome disc! Better than Presets, but Posthumous Silence is still the best.

I would agree with that assessment.  I think Posthumous Silence is going to be their Operation Mindcrime, almost impossible to beat, but they still do good music.

Agreed, Shawn. They set the bar pretty high.

I'm going to have to listen to Force Of Gravity a bit more, but I'd put it in the upper tier. Excellent stuff.
