I'll lead off with an Owl Watches track called "There Ain't No Such Things As Spooks"

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/theowlwatchesmusic.htm - http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/theowlwatchesmusic.htm

And more here:

It's not prog, in fact it's barely even listenable, but I'm part of a "band" called Death After Life.  It's my friend and I screwing around and recording things with our computer microphone.  Most of our songs are parodies of extreme metal bands, and the musicianship is incredibly sloppy since all our songs are improvised.

The "Gypsy Funeral" cut was really nice!

BTW, I just signed up on D-Music myself, I'm very happy with it so far, gives you more upload space than Soundclick!

I just added a track on my page, a rough mix of a new song, "Ghost of A Train"

Thanks!! I just took a listen to yours too. Have you ever considered film scoring? Seriously, what you did would lend itself very well to a film!

Yeah, I like Dmusic, it's a little bit better than what Soundclick has to offer.  But I checked out your stuff as well, and it's very cool.  I dig it very much, and for being programmed, your drums sound absolutely fantastic, and your overall sound has such a vintage sound to it, I love it.

I hope to be getting some music recorded and online soon, but as of now I have only writtien two insignificant pieces of music (a horrible avant-gard song that has been lost for some time and a very nice, but short piano melody that I am trying to develop into something good).

Thanks much!!!

The drums on "Healing Of A Heart", There Ain't No Such Things As Spooks", and "Perfect Picture In Reverse"  were programmed. However, "Ghost of A Train" has a  REAL drummer, and  so will the rest of the new album.  I do love that vintage vibe!

Hey guys, I'm a http://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=63 - reviewer  here at the site, and thought I'd link you up to my own music website . Since 1998 I've been recording my own brew of decidedly 'prog' music, starting out with long acoustic guitar experiments (like the early work of Anthony Phillips) and over the years moving into a fuller sound, combining many aspects of symphonic & progressive rock, folk, and electronic music. Most of all I try to capture that purity of sound, the contemplative textures, the magic of the 70s prog greats that is so rare today - but of course in a new dialect. My albums have never been published, and right now I just put together the CDs myself, but who knows what the future will bring?

So please visit: http://www.madrigalproject.co.uk/marc_carlton.html - The Madrigal Project (optimised for Internet Explorer)

There you can find out more, and listen to some extracts from the music - I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

wow...no...never thought of film scoring...what a great idea...

every year right here in utah, musicians arrive at the sundance film festival to "show" their stuff... maybe i should start working on the next flick soundtrack
...[hey, no harm in dreaming...right ?]

[note to self: get longer versions, and more samples of these tunes uploaded]

It's rather frantic though. I'm also avaliable for any bands that might need a guitarist such as myself!

For some reason they won't send me a confirmation code. I seem to have registered, but I can't log in. I've sent a message to the webmasters, still no reply.

Thanks for your comments, Owl! All those songs are just me, no band members or anything. I play keys, guitar, bass and drums on them.

I went back and downloaded Ghost of a train too! Seems like we've both got Ghosts on the mind!
