To celebrate their 40th Anniversary of live touring, GONG, the progressive/psychedelic rock band originally founded in 1967 by Australian musician Daevid Allen will join forces with guitarist Steve Hillage and other core members from the original line-up for a rare UK tour in November 2009. The UK shows will mark the first time Gong have initiated nationwide UK tour since 2000.

They are also to play the Beautiful Days fest in Devon next month, as are Hawkwind. My tickets, it goes without saying, are long since booked. ------------- Perception is truth, ergo opinion is fact. |

If u get a chance... grab the new book of Daevid just out... mine is already posted... can't wait daevid allen - Gong Dreaming 2 1969-1975 the first one... dreaming one...
