There. You'll find my piano renditions of Gentle Giant's "Experience" and Chicago's "Make me smile" plus a bluesy guitar improvisation. What do you think?

I've been thinking about what could I play next. So if somebody has a request, tell me. A list of the bands I'm most familiar with can be found from my channel.

Really great work man. Experience is actually my favourite GG song. A couple of constructive criticisms however: at the intro of the song try to bring out Kerry's organ melody above the rest. It's the most interesting and melodic part. At the moment I can only really hear each note played equally. Secondly in the bluesier section try to bring out the bassline a bit more and maybe ad lib some blues improvisation in a higher register. The further apart each voice is the better. Otherwise, excellent worked and some pretty darn good technique as well.

The trouble with the bassline could be that the camera was placed in the treble end of the piano. Anyway, thanks a lot! I'll have to keep those things in mind.

No problem, if you need any help with finishing touches on a piece, count on me. I would rather hear a recording of your playing, as I can appreciate the positioning of your camera to be a minor problem. That way we get a better idea of your playing and also it would be much clearer and pleasant to listen to.

I do have recordings of me playing. They even feature an original song (and vocals, be warned). But I'd rather not put them to YouTube, as they can be downloaded and then I could not get them out of the net completely, in case I wanted to. Do you - or anyone - know a place, where I can upload audio for others to stream?

OK, I never got the UploadMP3 account working, but an original composition of mine can now be found here:

The lyrics are stupid and the vocals are also quite questionable, but overall I think it's not too shabby.

I wonder if it's OK copyright-wise for me to upload some of my covers of other artists music...

Right now I can only play a bit of it (there's no sheet music for that one on the band website). But I'll have to keep that in mind...

It's perfectly fine unless you are making money from it. As long as it is for entertainment purposes only, you won't have any legal action taken against you. Wink
