The dvd's will contain an extensive documentary about the band, musical highlights, archival photographs and the band's final performance at Théâtre Outremont in Montréal in 1977. Serge Fiori and Louis Valois will be collaborating on the project.

Harmonium Will Relive On DVD

The complete works of Harmonium will be revisited in a series of 6 DVDs, documentaries, music, archive photos, and the presentation of their last concert March 4th 1977 at the Théatre Outremont. This box set is scheduled to be released November 11. TVA Films will be in charge of this project.

The box set contains not less than 6 DVDs.

Quality Documents

How was Harmoium born? Why did the group transform from album to album? What were the circumstance surrounding the band's decision to quit recording? What became of the band members? Serge Fiori will tell his tale.

32 years after their last show, Harmonium will be granted a second life.

"Serge Fiori is very pround and so are we" concluded Yves Dion, impressed by the quality of the archives retained for the marketing of this DVD.

The Harmonium box set goes on sale November 11.

I can't imagine them not putting out a shorter international set, because, because filling 6 DVDs with Harmonium stuff is going to include every local mewspaper clipping, etc.....Not likely to encourage external sales outside La Bzelle Province.

I'd rather prefer one well-crafted disc with carefully restored concert(s) and some extras.

There will be 3 DVDs of documentaries, interviews, and other historical information about Harmonium. A fourth DVD will be the making of a classic album, including studio footage. I don't know which album. A fifth DVD will be the Outremont show, and possibly another show (or parts of another show). The sixth DVD will feature NEW material by Fiori and Valois.

Everything is new, not previously released. The 30-minute mini-series is not part of this.

I don't know yet if there will be English subtitles or audio yet. Since they are selling it in Quebec I am optimistic there will at least be subtitles (parts of Quebec are fully francophone but many parts including Montreal are very bilingual and I assume they will serve this market).

Because this is advance information it should be considered subject to change. Based on the people who are involved it is going to be done right. Fiori and Valois are heavily driving the initiative to make sure it does them justice.
