I can't believe out of all the prog groups covered here that we have left out the group NO! Surely you all must remember them. Formed somewhere in the 20th century by lead singer Yawn Anderson and bassist Piss Squire. They recruited guitarist Robert Tripp, keyboard whiz Emerson Lakeman and drummer Carl White. Here's a listing of just some of the classic tracks they did to refresh your memory:
Nose To The Fudge*
Yours Is In My Face
A Lime And A Turd
Shark's Teeth In Ass
The Endless Enema
Boogey Man
Spaceship Pooper
In The Court Of Bart Simpson The King
21st Century Schitso Man
Jeremy Bend Her Over
The Revealing Science Of Bob (the Dylan tribute song from their masterpiece "Trails From The Pornographic Lotions")*
That's all I can remember for now. Anybody that has any additional info on this landmark band, please contribute. We want to make this site the ultimate prog website. Thank you.

No way, Main.
U.G.H. was THE band... With Biff Buttfur, Allan Holdsthemayo, John Wettmyself and Eddie Jobsblow. Now THAT was a supergroup. They recorded the whole thing at Sucksyermoney Studio in Englushshirehampsfjord with Eddie Awfulick at the mixing board. I believe Alan Parsnips was engineering after completing Punk Fraud's "Blank Side of the Bunghole" to Hugh's acclaim!
If I remember right the track listing looked something like this:
1. In the Butt of Mike 2. By the Way I'm Gay 3. Pesto Spaghetti and Surprize 4. Dirty Years 5. Nebraska 6. Grime to Spill 7. Beavermore 8. Metal Masturbation
Of course, Biff and Al moved on, but Tory Bunzio stepped in and they re-grouped for the Dodgy Monkey album, a big tour and Live album, "Life After Wife" that stole millions from childrens piggy banks.
Yeah, Mark, those were the days.

That's right, my mistake.
Hey do you all remember that one obscur group from a while back Genocide. Their best lineup had singer Peter Gagnsqueel, drummer Tom Collins, bassist Michael Driveaford, guitarist Heeven Hackett and keyboardist Boney Shanks. I remember their best album was The Hand Slides Down The Hardway. I can't "off hand" remember any of their songs, maybe you guys can refresh my memory.

Hahahahahah!!
This is so ridiculous! hahahahh!
Indeed it's the sort of thing that would be best followed by a comedic and utterly surreal description of how the band No! decided they wanted to record Trails from Pornographic Lotions in the middle of a forest but decided it was too tricky and decamped to a studio filled with cardboard cut-outs of barnyard animals and shrubberies to get the vibe right
or how their mad keyboard player was wont to fix optics to the underside of his Hammond organ and order Biyanis in the middle of the more tedious, decade-long sections of Trails and how he had three heart attacks by the age of 26
or how the egomaniac singer insists on wheeling out a harp that looks in danger of being trodden on by a dwarf (perhaps the singer himself) during the mid-section of "(Please, stay) Awake(n)"
of course those things would just be a Spinal Tarp-like step too far across the humour rubicon now wouldn't they.....

OK, enough of the stupid jokes !!!
Everyone knows all these albums are crap! NO! took a really long time to mature and all of these 70s albums are overlong, directionless, noodly tripe .
Now the period from 1983 to 1997 was NO!s golden era without any doubt . The songs became much tighter and more focused, with the musicians finally learning some discpiline! Just feast your ears on the following:
1983: 90210
1987: Fig Demonstrator
1991: Confederacy
1994: Write
1997: Plug Your Ears
Now there's vintage NO! for you

I disagree, Nose To The Fudge is a masterpiece. Especially the Grope Her Ass In Pain section. But it does get a bit sleepy during the I Get It Up And It Goes Down part.
