hate to say it but Hogarth suited that band much better and i liked it

Not sure that is fair about Marillion ... it made its name with Fish ... and then it was able to maintain itself with Hogarth ...
 
They are both good, just different ... but if you check out Fish's catalogue since ... he's no slouch either ...

This is pretty true

I mean, Marillion may have split as an entity and/or band if FISH didn't help them reach success...

I do prefer FISH, but I'd say that Hogarth is a better writer, and the music the band has produced since is much better.

...But...

I still prefer FISH
